When Is the Best Time to Get Married in Ios?

Harmony’s summer season runs from May through September, and each part of the season has a different feel.

May and early June are generally quieter, while July and August are the heart of the island’s summer season. September is particularly popular with couples who want warm weather and sea temperatures while avoiding some of the intensity of peak summer.

Ios has a public bus network connecting the Port, Chora and Mylopotas, with additional services to locations including Manganari, Koumbara, Psathi and Agia Theodoti at certain times.

During summer, services between the Port, Chora and Mylopotas can be very frequent, but timetables change, so give guests the current official timetable rather than copying departure times into a wedding invitation that may be outdated by the time everyone arrives.
